Eunice Y. Rhee

Associate Professor of Management, Seattle University

I explore how organizations influence audience evaluations and, in turn, market outcomes by strategically managing the building blocks of meaning systems: categories, frames, and evaluation criteria.

My research program lies at the intersection of organization theory and strategic management. I investigate how organizations draw on as well as actively shape meaning systems, and demonstrate the effect of such organizational undertakings on social evaluation and financial performance of firms.

I earned my PhD in Management and Organization from the University of Southern California. I also hold an MBA from Seoul National University and a BBA from Yonsei University.
